Cue the conspiracy theories.
With stormy weather coming through Chicago, referees have temporarily suspended Sunday's Ravens-Bears game. The Ravens held a 10-0 lead before the game came to a halt. Both teams trekked back into their respective locker rooms and fans were asked to evacuate the seating area.
The Ravens are no strangers to this. A 32-minute delay occurred when the lights went out at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome during Super Bowl XLVII against San Francisco. The season-opener against Denver began with a long weather delay as well.
It appears it will be until at least 2:25 p.m. when the game is resumed.
