One player on offense has stood out among the rest through the first seven games of the season.

That's been receiver Torrey Smith, who has become a fan favorite in Baltimore during his three seasons with the franchise. After the bye week, Smith checks in at 11th in the NFL in receiving yards with 629. Most impressively is the fact Smith has a per-catch average of 20.3 yards.

Thing is, Smith isn't just running deep routes down the field. He's turning quick passes into big gains. He's been a huge help to an offense that's struggled at times through the season.

Of Smith's receiving total, 248 of those yards have come after the catch.

Smith entered the NFL as a raw product known for his deep-route running ability. He's quickly become a complete receiver and among the NFL's best.
