Where Do The Big Name Free Agents Land In 2013?

With more than a few big names players in the NFL at the end of their current contracts, the bigger question will be where they will end up playing in 2013?

Bob Levey

Let's start with the logical assumption that Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco will remain Baltimore Ravens QB JoeFlacco.

With that out of the way, who are and where will the bigger names that could enter free agency this off-season,, land when the dust has settled and cleared?

There are really no big name QB's that will be free-agent eligible (including Michael Vick) and it really doesn't mater anyway. Miami Dolphins RB Reggie Bush would be a great addition for most teams in need of a RB. At WR, Cleveland Browns WR/KR Josh Cribbs as well as Dwayne Bowe (Kansas City Chiefs), Wes Welker (New England Patriots), Mike Wallace (Pittsburgh Steelers) are all heading to the open market.

At offensive tackle, which could be of interest to the Ravens, are Ryan Clady (Denver Broncos), Brenden Albert (Chiefs), Jake Long (Dolphins) and former Towson University's Jerome Bushrod (New Orleans Saints).

Defensive ends that could add to the Ravens pass rush could be Cliff Avril (Detroit Lions), Dwight Freeney (Indianapolis Colts) and Osi Umenyiora (New York Giants).

LB Shaun Phillips (San Diego Chargers), CB's Leodis McKelvin (Buffalo Bills) and Brent Grimes (Atlanta Falcons) and safety Jarius Byrd (Bills) are all guys that could warrant a look.

However, there does not appear to be that huge name such as when Peyton Manning was on the open market last year. The Ravens will have a slew of other players to look at who will be at the end of the current contracts and turn the team's focus inward until their status is determined before they look outside the organization for additional help.

Who would you like to see change uniforms and don the purple and black in 2013 and beyond?
