Super Bowl 47 is over a week away but both teams have been practicing and plan to head to New Orleans at the beginning of next week. For the Baltimore Ravens ,neither TE Dennis Pitta (thigh) nor Dannell Ellerbe (ankle/back) practiced today. After a group of Ravens did not participate in practice earlier this week, everyone other than these two took part in the team's final practice prior to heading for The Big Easy.
For the San Francisco 49ers, only TE Garrett Celek (foot) did not participate in practice. The 49ers had a plethora of players who practiced in a limited capacity today, and they too will be headed to The Crescent City next week as well.
The benefit of having a two week break in between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl will allow both teams to be at full strength for the game.
