Super Bowl 2013 Odds: Ravens Would Be Underdogs If They Beat Patriots

Regardless of whether the Baltimore Ravens would play either the San Francisco 49ers or Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 47, they would enter as the underdog.

Al Bello

Should the Baltimore Ravens end up pulling off their second upset as at least nine point underdogs in consecutive weeks and reach the Super Bowl, they would immediately return to being the underdog regardless of who their opponent would be.

According to the sports wagering site, Bovada.lv, the Ravens would be a four point underdog to the San Francisco 49ers, if they were to beat the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game. On the other hand, if the Falcons pull off what would be considered an upset despite being the home team, Atlanta would still be favored to beat the Ravens, with the opening line being -1.5 points.

Of the four teams headed into the two conference championship games, the Ravens are the longest odds to win Super Bowl 47 (15/2), with the New England Patriots the favorite (11/10), followed by the 49ers (9/5) and the Falcons (6/1).
