The Baltimore Ravens have ruled out rookie cornerback Asa Jackson for Sunday's AFC Conference Championship against the New England Patriots, but the list of questionable players may be more concerning for Ravens fans. Fullback Vonta Leach, linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, running back Bernard Pierce and wide receiver David Reed are all listed as questionable, while 16 players are listed as probable.
Leach was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday, just as he was prior to the divisional round; however, he was probable for that week's game against the Denver Broncos. The three-time All-Pro fullback hasn't missed a game in six consecutive seasons.
Running back Anthony Allen, wide receiver Anquan Boldin, cornerback Chykie Brown, nose tackle Terrence Cody, offensive lineman Gino Gradkowski, defensive end Arthur Jones, linebacker Ray Lewis, linebacker Albert McClellan, defensive end Pernell McPhee, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, safety Bernard Pollard, safety Ed Reed, cornerback Jimmy Smith, wide receiver Torrey Smith, linebacker Terrell Suggs and offensive lineman Marshall Yanda were all listed as probable.
The Patriots only listed one player as out for Sunday, ruling tight end Rob Gronkowski out after suffering a forearm injury against the Houston Texans in the divisional round. Cornerback Marquice Cole, defensive end Chandler Jones, offensive lineman Nick McDonald, defensive end Trevor Scott and running back Danny Woodhead were all listed as probable.
