At the Baltimore Ravens Training Camp practice on Monday afternoon, the highlight in this writer's opinion were the one-on-one battles between the offensive linemen and the defensive line and linebackers. There were some interesting battles and results, although I thought if there was going to be a Training Camp fight, this would be the perfect situation for tempers to boil over from. Luckily, no players shared similar thoughts as me.
Despite today being his first day back on the playing field, DT Haloti Ngata still had the ability to throw veteran guard Bobbie Williams to the ground in their match-up. Even with all of his drama, LT Bryant McKinnie still manhandled LB Albert McClellan.
Other match-ups had rookie OT Kelechi Osemele and DE Pernell McPhee battling to a draw and later McPhee continued his strong showing by also drawing with OT Ramon Harewood. DT Terrence Cody showed his power by driving OL Justin Boren way, way back almost into the group of watching players.
Osemele pushed OLB Sergio Kindle to the ground. Sergio Kindle's tough day continued, as Ramon Harewood buckled Kindle's knees and then KO once again drove Kindle into the ground.
