Captain Dee-Fense Among 'Hall of Fan's Finalists

The Baltimore Ravens have their share of rabid fans, but perhaps none embodies the spirit as much as Captain Dee-Fense. The self-proclaimed "Ultimate Fan of Defense" Behind the moniker, Larry H. is a 24-year military veteran, who has appeared at countless Ravens and charitable events, taking photos with other fans.

He is well-known and recognizable at every Ravens game, leading cheers and has already been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 'Hall of Fans' in 2002. As a cancer survivor, he has spoken at numerous events and visits military hospitals.

Captain Dee-Fense is among the finalists for ESPN's 'Hall of Fans,' which is an institution created between ESPN and Stubhub to honor and celebrate sports fandom. Voting is currently underway to elect three to the lofty honor of induction on ESPN's Bristol, Connecticut campus.
