It was almost a forgone conclusion that former Ravens number one pick Sergio Kindle would not start for the team this season or any others for that matter. Well, Kindle may be forcing his name back into the battle for the starting outside linebackers position. All reports from Ravens camp are that he has been flying all over the field like the Sergio Kindle of old.

This would be huge for the season and for the Ravens as a franchise. With the stiff competition at outside linebacker already between rookie Courtney Upshaw, Veteran Paul Kruger and second year player Albert McClellan Kindle's once again dominant play will only lead to better competition all around.

He has always had the Physical tools to be successful at the NFL level. After his trip down the stairs in his rookie season, all reports have been that the former Long Horn was just not the same player that the Ravens saw before his injury.

If Kindle can return to his prior form and Upshaw lives up to expectations, the Ravens may, once again have a dominant pass rush in 2012... Even without Terrell Suggs.
