Monday's Open Thread

Hello Baltimore Beat Down, I hope you guys had an excellent Monday! Feel free to keep your discussion here through the rest of the evening.

So I finished one of my summer-reading books for my school today, "The Purple Heart" by Patricia McCormick, and I really enjoyed it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice short book to entertain themselves with. It is a story about a U.S. soldier named Matt who wakes up in an Iraqi hospital after a mysterious accident. The storyline is primarily about Matt recovering from his brain trauma and trying to discover what happened on the eventful day that resulted in the injuries he sustained. It's only about 200 pages, so its a short (but very entertaining) read.
