Rex Ryan Lost Over 100 Pounds

Alright, alright. Not exactly football news, but what is these days? In a recent article on NFL.com, Marc Sessler noted that in a recent interview on Fox & Friends Rex Ryan reported losing almost 105 pounds since his lap band in 2011.

From NewYorkJets.com: "I'm down 105 pounds," the still-slimming Jets head coach told Gretchen Carlson and Steve Doocy on the Fox & Friends curvy couch bright and early this morning about dropping weight with the help of his Lap-Band surgery after topping off at 348 pounds. "My big thing is I want to be the Rex Ryan that wins. I did this for health reasons. I'm ready to attack this season."

You can read the rest of the article in the hyperlink above, but there really isn't much more to it. There is just some questions from political reporters pretending to know about sports talking about Tim Tebow. Nothing really more substantial to the article...

But congratulations to Rex Ryan for putting in the effort to lose weight! I am extremely happy for him!
