In a story making the rounds on BaltimoreRavens.com as well as Pro Football Talk, Baltimore Ravens strong safety Bernard Pollard is trying to clean up his act. In the past, Pollard was known to have a 'potty mouth,' as evidenced by clicking on the link within the BR.com story.
The uncensored video shows Pollard knocking Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne out of bounds then laying a profanity-laced tirade on him after the play is over. Even Bernard himself says that act needs to go away.
"It's on film and you can't take it away," Pollard said with regret. "I can't conduct myself like that. Somebody's kids are going to hear that. My kids are going to hear that. I have to be an example for not only my kids, but everybody's kids."
Pollard's hard-hitting style of play speaks volumes for his ability and fits perfectly in with the physical way the Ravens defense has earn its reputation. He certainly doesn't need to add curse-words to his vocabulary in order to make an impact on his opponents.
