Even though linebacker Shawne Merriman is a member of the Buffalo Bills, his current playing status should be of interest to Baltimore Ravens fans as he is recovering from Achilles Tendon surgery, which Terrell Suggs is now about to start his rehabilitation from.

In a story posted by Sport Radio Interviews, Merriman discusses a variety of topics in addition to his injury. Apparently, Shawne has been at the Bills training facility on a regular basis to train and comments on a question about his current state of health:

"Honestly man I was just talking with coach about this. It’s probably the best I have felt in three years. The first time I got the chance to have full surgery on my Achilles and have a real off-season. I am looking for a big year."

It should be encouraging to read that he is ready for training camp and fully expects to be 100% when the season opens in September. At the same time, Merriman missed eleven games in 2011 while Suggs firmly believes he will be back shortly after the 2012 regular season begins.
