Notes on the picks
Michael Floyd
- Ozzie makes the decision that it is time to grab a WR with elite potential, and works a trade with San Diego to jump up 11 spots. Because of a few character issues and a run on some defensive positions and O-Lineman early in the draft, Floyd falls to 18.

James Brown
- Brown is a tweener type of O-Lineman being that he could play Tackle or Guard in the NFL. His natural position was LT while at Troy and started every game there since 2009, and is a heck of an athlete. Because of his size, Brown looks more like a Guard at the next level. One of the knocks on Brown was not being able to control his emotion, but the guy is just a nasty player. Seems like an Ozzie type of guy.

Tommy Streeter
- After grabbing Floyd in the 1st round, Ozzie cannot pass on the opportunity to add the 6'5" WR from The U. Streeter may be a bit of an awkward runner, but he has the speed and height that this offense has lacked for a long time. A move like this would secure our future at WR with Floyd, Torrey, Streeter and Doss.

Jake Bequette
- This is one of my version of Ozzie's "red star players." Bequette is a machine from the DE position, heavy hitter and knows how to get to the QB. 20+ career sacks shows how good he was in the SEC. With a little added bulk, could end up handling a 3-4 DE position down the road. Always good when you are a 1st team All-SEC selection. Bequette is the type of football player you want on your team.

Adrian Hamilton
- Here is your small school product that barely anyone knows about him. Want to know why the DE from Prairie View A&M is being considered a draft prospect? Because he is the all time single season SWAC sack leader, surpassing the now Pro Bowl DE Robert Mathis by racking up 20.5 sacks, 26.5 tackles for loss and 6 forced fumbles in 2011. He might be worth a shot.
- 2011 Highlights
Adam Gettis
- We all know the type of O-Lineman Iowa produces, we have our own Iowa All-Pro starting at Right Guard for us. Gettis faught injuries in 2011, but had been considered the starter over the last 2 years at both LG and RG. A converted TE, Gettis has also been said to be able to play Center in the NFL if needed.

Phillip Welch
- There is no denying that Billy Cundiff will have some competition in 2012 after a poor performance in 2011. Maybe Ozzie goes to Free Agency to bring in a player, maybe the draft, but it would not hurt to grab a Kicker like Bullock who has been tested at Texas A&M with a 2011 season going 25 for 28 on FG's. Bullock is the 2011 Lou Groza award winner and consensus All-American.
