Harbaugh Brothers, Ravens & Niners On HBO's 'Hard Knocks?'

It could happen, according to a story by Adam Schein on FOXSports.com. In the story, Schein mentions that the New York Jets are the highest priority to re-appear on the NFL Training Camp series, although head coach Rex Ryan is trying to stay away from the media circus that the Tim Tebow-Mark Sanchez QB controversy is already guaranteed to have. Ryan wants no part of it although the story says Jets owner Woody Johnson is all for the extra media attention it would surely bring.

Next on the list of options appears to be a two team series, featuring the Harbaugh brothers, including their Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers teams. A related story posted earlier today at SB Nation's 49ers site, Niners Nation, details the same scenario. However, knowing the way John leads the Ravens and expecting that his brother Jim has the same mind-set, once would expect neither head coach to be too interested in having such a critical part of the pre-season invaded by the lights, camera and action.

Furthermore, a story on Yahoo! Sports says that there is also a chance that the Jacksonville Jaguars might be an HBO target as well, and with a QB competition in camp as well as the always loquacious Maurice Jones-Drew, they could be a good team with in reality, nothing left to lose, by getting as much publicity as possible to help their image, much less increase their attendance.
