As more and more details about the"pay for performance" bounty fund that has seemingly followed defensive coordinator Gregg Williams from the Washington Redskins to the New Orleans Saints, players have begun to come out of the woodwork on both sides of the debate. Both sides seem to feel strongly about their positions, and have taken to Twitter to tweet out their opinions.
New England Patriots WR Chad Ochocinco thinks it is part of the game, tweeting:
It's football, bounty or not. Keep head on a swivel RT @musa90: what you think bout the saints having a bounty program the past 3 seasons?
However, Arizona Cardinals placekicker Jay Feely believe otherwise:
No place in NFL for bounties. Physical play is an attribute but malicious intent should be removed
