Rankings By Position At NFL Combine

Mike Mayock from the NFL Network ranked the players by position for the NFL Scouting Combine on NFL.com. He lists the top five at each position, with new entries who have risen in his rankings as well as those who dropped out of his lists. These are "pre-Combine" rankings, which could and probably will certainly change pending the outcome of the drills this week.

Many of the leaders at each position will not be surprising, but it's the guys who fill out the top five that should interest fans of the Baltimore Ravens. Picking late in the first round (29th), Baltimore will more than likely not have much of a chance at the top players in each position, but then again, you never know how other teams will covet players after the results from the Combine.

Interesting names such as LSU WR Rueben Randle has risen to the #4 position on Mayock's wide receiver list, as Randle has been linked to the Ravens in at least one recent Mock Draft. At linebacker, Alabama's Dont'a Hightower is 3rd in Mayock's opinion, but Arizona State's Vontaze Burfict has dropped out of his top five. Wisconsin center Peter Konz, also mentioned as a possible Ravens target, is Mayock's 2nd best interior offensive lineman.
