NFL Odds & Ends: Ravens Drop

Check out these NFL Odds & Ends on the Super Bowl and MVP from wagering info site, Bovada.com.

David Richard-US PRESSWIRE

The Baltimore Ravens dropped once again in their odds to win the Super Bowl, according to betting information site, Bovada. The Ravens dropped from 18-1 last week to 20-1 this week. Prior to last week, they were 14-1 and at one time, were as low as 9-1 to win it all. The Houston Texans have the best odds to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in New Orleans next February, at 5-1 odds, just head of the New England Patriots (11-2).

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning is such a hot item in the NFL that he is now the top pick to win the league MVP (2-1), ahead of, in order, Matt Ryan (3-1), Tom Brady (6-1) and Aaron Rodgers (7-1). Ravens QB Joe Flacco's name is nowhere to be seen on this list.
