What Should Ravens Fans Be Thankful For?

As A Ravens Fan I Can Name A Few Things.

Patrick Smith

We as Ravens fans have much to be thankful for with our team standing atop the AFC North with an 8-2 record and fresh off a third straight road win in Pittsburgh. Of course there have been plenty of bumps along the road and the team hasn't always looked to be at their best but, like the old football adage says "You are what your record says you are".

One of the things I am most thankful for as a Ravens fan is our front office. The Ravens are well known as one of the most well run organizations in all of sports, from top to bottom. Ozzie Newsome, Eric DeCosta and John Harbaugh are the big players, the figure heads if you will. however, there are plenty of behind-the-scenes type guys that we never hear about that make this team tick. Let's be sure to be thankful for all of them as well. Even if we don't know their names or faces, we know they are there holding down the fort.

On the playing field there is so much to be thankful for I don't know where to start. I guess, first off, we are blessed to have been able to watch the careers of players like Ray Lewis , Ed Reed, Jonathan Ogden, Terrell Suggs and Haloti Ngata.

Currently I am thankful for Ray Rice, Jacoby Jones, Torrey Smith, Lardarius Webb, Paul Kruger, Pernell McPhee, Bernard Pollard and Corey Graham. It all goes back to the front office finding these guys to suit up for us each week and to be ever ready for when their number is called. Hopefully I can be very thankful for Chris Johnson as the season continues as well.

What are you thankful for Ravens fans? I know I covered a lot of bases all ready but please elaborate!
