The list of inactive players will officially be released on Sunday afternoon, but today's Injury Report lists the game status for both the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers. Other than the players listed as officially out, the rest will be game-time decisions.
For the Ravens, CB Jimmy Smith is officially listed as out due to his sports hernia injury and subsequent surgery this week. Pernell McPhee (thigh) is listed as doubtful although he has said he is ready to play. Both Terrence Cody (arm) and safety Christian Thompson (thigh) are listed as questionable and there is a lengthy list of players considered probable, which usually means they will be ready to go.
For the Steelers, the list is considerably longer. QB Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder), of course, is officially out, as are WR Antonio Brown (ankle), OT Marcus Gilbert (ankle) and safety Troy Polamalu (calf). LB Stevenson Sylvester (hamstring) is on the questionable list and Pittsburgh also has a half dozen players on the probable list with all likelihood that they will also play.
Other than those aforementioned players officially out of the game, the status of the rest will ultimately be determined when the two teams release their seven inactive players just prior to the game.
