Baltimore Ravens linebacker/defensive end Terrell Suggs will be practicing on Wednesday, meaning he will officially come off of the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) List, according to the official team twitter.
It's yet to be determined when Suggs will be ready to get into a game, with no set timetable on his return.
Despite being 5-1, the Ravens desperately need Suggs after watching linebacker Ray Lewis and cornerback Lardarius Webb go down for the season with a torn triceps and ACL, respectively.
Suggs was a key reason the team was able to make it all the way to the AFC Championship game last year. The Arizona State product had the best campaign of his nine-year career, registering 14 sacks en route to NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors.
The 30-year-old has been a force for the Ravens since his rookie year in 2003, racking up 82.5 sacks in that time.
