The latest entry in the 'Batman' movie series, 'The Dark Knight Rises,' is being filmed in Pittsburgh and while that alone should nauseate most Baltimore Ravens fans, it gets even worse. The movie features a fictional football game at Heinz Field, with the hometown Gotham Rogues, coached by none other than former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher, and includes appearances by other Steelers players such as Ben Roethlisberger and Hines Ward.
While you are reading this and feel the bile rising in the back of your throat, try to remember that the movie des not take place in Pittsburgh, but in New York, albeit the place known as "Gotham City." At the same time, it will be difficult to miss those ugly black and gold colors that have haunted Ravens fans over the years, especially after being knocked out of the playoffs by them two of the past three seasons.
Hopefully, the explosions and special effects mentioned in the article on Philly.com, that went on will not be the only disasters for the Steelers, not only at Heinz Field, but starting off on September 11th, when Pittsburgh comes to Baltimore to face the Ravens in the 2011 regular season opener for both teams.
