In a story on the top undrafted free agent signings in the National Football Post, it looks like the Baltimore Ravens have made another splash today with the agreement to bring Missouri center Tim Barnes to the team. Barnes will be given a chance to provide depth initially along the offensive line and ultimately compete to replace the veteran Matt Birk.
The knock on him is his run blocking abilities, although it says he is a natural in pass protection, especially based on his experience in snapping the ball to fellow Missouri Tiger, QB Blaine Gabbert, who was one of the best in the country last year in college.
The Ravens are one of the most active teams so far in this new NFL season, which will only be getting even more crazy in the next few days, much less the next few hours!
