Baltimore Sports & Life, a local web blog with stories on all of the sports in the city, did a Q&A with a group of respected sportswriters on the issues facing the Baltimore Ravens in 2011 and beyond. Coordinated by Christopher Stoner, Baltimore Beatdown was honored to take part, along with John Eisenberg of CNN Baltimore, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports, Tony Lombardi of Ravens24x7, and Kevin Van Valkenburg of the Baltimore Sun.
The questions ranged from keeping G/T Marshal Yanda, to the play of QB Joe Flacco and the hiring of defensive coordinator Chuck Pagana as well as comparing the two coaching staffs of the Ravens and their hated AFC North rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
There was a consensus on many of the questions, although there were specific differences within the opinions on individual players. Debates centered on which cornerbacks to keep, which linebacker will step up and what we can expect in 2011 from players such as Sergio Kindle, Paul Kruger, Terrence Cody and Ed Dickson.
