Kindle's Agent Expects One Year Deal From Ravens

Baltimore Ravens LB Sergio Kindle has been cleared to resume football contact-related activities, but once the NFL labor dispute is settled, he will have to prove he is the Sergio Kindle of old before the team offers him anything other than a one year contract.

Kindle's agent, in a story on NFL.com, says he does not expect the team to offer his client anything other than a single year deal until he can prove he deserves a multi-year contract. That should be fine by both sides, as the Ravens are justifiably skeptical that Sergio can return to his old self after cracking his skull falling down two flights of stairs prior to Training Camp opening last July.

At the same time, Kindle and his agent are comfortable with that opportunity, as both feel he will show the team that he is healthy and ready to contribute in the manner which the Ravens expected when they drafted him early in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
