Derrick Mason Respects Jeff Fisher

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason used to play for the Tennessee Titans and perhaps the thing he misses most from his time there was his former head coach, Jeff Fisher. Mason said that the players loved Fisher and knows that despite the fact that the team let him go this past off season, the players never lost respect for their head coach.

Fisher was the longest-tenured head coach in the league at the time of his firing and while he could probably return to the sidelines if he wanted, has chosen to become an analyst for the time being. In a story on ProFootballTalk.com, Mason spoke well of his former coach at a charity softball game in Tennessee, and while his last few seasons weren't anywhere near the success of his earlier ones, he will be missed by the Titans players still there and those no longer with the team.
