Ravens' Zbikowski To Fight Again in April

Baltimore Ravens safety, Tom Zbikowski, is still recovering from his longest fight as a professional, after winning a four-round unanimous decision over Caleb "True Grit" Grummet Saturday night in Atlantic City. In that fight, he was outweighed by 20 pounds and by the end of the fight, the weight difference was beginning to take a toll on him. However, Tommy Z, as he is known in the ring, held on for the victory and is already looking to get back into the ring once again.

According to a story by Aaron Wilson of the National Footall Post, Zbi will be fighting on April 23rd near Dallas, with future fights this summer coming in the Los Angeles areas. Of course, all of this depends on the state of negotiations on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NFL owners and players. Unfortunately, with the two sides remaining at polar opposite ends of the issues, Tom might be fighting well into the summer and perhaps even the fall as well.

No offense, Zbi, but I'd prefer to see your boxing career go on hold for the 2011 season and then we can cheer your hits on the field instead of in the ring.
