Harbaugh v. Harbaugh

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh says a day doesn't go by when he's not thinking about how to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. "We should have beaten them three times," he says in a recent interview on BaltimoreRavens.com. However, there is another game on the 2011 schedule that the Ravens coach says is a "must-win."

The Ravens will play the San Francisco 49ers during the 2011 regular season as their schedule rotation has them playing the NFC West, where the 49ers reside. John's baby brother, Jim Harbaugh, was just hired by San Francisco this year and bragging rights in the Harbaugh family are on the line in this one.

Jim already has the upper hand in the salary comparison, as he was lured away from Stanford University for $5 million a year, while John received a new contract from Baltimore that pays him only $4 million, a million less than Jim. That seems wrong, as Jim has never coached a game in the NFL while John has three years of service which includes three straight playoff appearances.
