Fresh off the heels of the SB Nation Mock Draft, here is another one by the Dallas Cowboys' blog for SB Nation, Blogging The Boys. They've been doing this Mock Draft a few picks at a time, and the Baltimore Ravens selection just was published today. They have the Ravens taking Mississippi State offensive tackle Derek Sherrod at #26 of the first round.
While I totally disagreed with the previous Mock Draft posted earlier today, which had Baltimore taking Temple defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson, I really like this pick, as I have been touting an offensive tackle in the first round for a while now. Funny thing is, after the Ravens selection of Sherrod, the Atlanta Falcons took Wisconsin offensive tackle Gabe Carimi. With those two tackles still available on the board, the question is, which OT would you want to have between Sherrod and Carimi? Personally, I don't care, as they will fit in perfectly on the right side of the Ravens offensive line, opening holes for the running game and protecting QB Joe Flacco for a long, long time.
