You can complain about how poorly QB Kyle Boller played in his tenure with the Baltimore Ravens, but one thing has began to prove true. Kyle Boller has staying power in the NFL. Boller will be entering his eighth season in the NFL after he re-signed with the Oakland Raiders just before the signing deadline passed. Although he only threw a grand total of four passes in 2010, the Raiders saw enough to warrant keeping him around as an insurance policy for another year behind apparent starter Jason Campbell.
Boller has played for the Ravens, the St. Louis Rams and the Raiders since being drafted by Baltimore in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He made news off the field when he married former Miss America contestant Carrie Prejean who received national attention for her stance against same-sex marriage.
Congrats to Kyle for hanging in and best of luck to him for at least 15 games next year, other than the one when his Raiders play the Ravens here in Baltimore in the 2011 season.
