LeRon McClain Still Wants The Ball

Facing a future that starts with free agency whenever that might be this year, LeRon McClain would still like to play for the Baltimore Ravens, but also hasn't backed off his desire to carry the ball. It was only two short years ago in 2008 that he was the primary goal line back for the Ravens and scored ten TD's. Last year that dropped to only two scores and this past season he was shut out of the end zone all year.

His carries fell off in a similar fashion, from 232 in 2008 to 46 in 2009 and finally 28 in 2010. He says that staying with the Ravens as a blocking back may fit the team's scheme and he never complained to Cam Cameron about his lack of getting the ball. However, he should be a pretty valuable commodity on the open market and might end up making his decision based on what role he will play next season, be it on the Ravens or another NFL team.
