According to a story by Aaron Wilson on SB Nation's affiliate, the National Football Post, NFL Draft expert Mike Mayock thinks that the University of Maryland's star wide receiver Torrey Smith would be an excellent fit with the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens will be looking for a solid wideout who can stretch the field and grow with QB Joe Flacco and Smith seems to have all the requisite tools to fit the bill. With a bunch of needs, it remains to be seen if the Ravens will use their first round draft pick on a wide receiver. However, adding a young player like Smith to play alongside Anquan Boldin with a couple of young tight ends from last year's draft would seem to give the Ravens the weapons they need to raise the level of offense to closer to what expectations have been since they traded for Boldin last year for years to come.
