Who Will Replace Ray Lewis?

At some point in the not too distant future, the time will come for the Baltimore Ravens All-Pro linebacker Ray Lewis to hang up his cleats and call it an NFL career. And what a career it has been over what is going on his 16th season since the Ravens drafted him with the 26th pick of the first round in 1996.

Now is the time for the team to start looking for the person who will follow in Ray's footsteps and be the leader of this defense. It unfortunately does not appear that the player needed is not currently on the team and the question if not, then is he even in the NFL right now? Perhaps he is, but more than likely he will be in one of the next two draft classes, with this year's crop of inside linebackers looking solid and deep.

BaltimoreRavens.com's Mike Duffy looked around the college talent out there and wrote about some of the up-and-comers that might fit into what this team has accomplished over Ray's tenure roaming the middle of the defense.

Take a look here.
