Ravens vs. Browns Game-Time 'Open Thread'

This is the final regular season home game for the Baltimore Ravens today. Hopefully, there will be at least one more in January 2012 but we won't fully know the extent of the playoff seedings until after the final regular season game is played on New Year's Day. In the meantime, join Baltimore Beatdown for this game-time 'Open Thread,' where you can post your comments live as the game progresses.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending how you choose to look at it), I will be unable to chime in until after the win is in the books as I will be rooting for the home team from my seats at M&T Bank Stadium. For those of you not there in person to cheer, sit on the edge of your sofa and watch the Ravens put a hurting on the Cleveland Browns, letting out their frustrations of their embarrassing loss last week to the San Diego Chargers and proving to the local fans that this is indeed a playoff team worthy of Super Bowl contender status.

Hopefully, this game will be over earlier than the last few minutes of the game, so the Ravens can perhaps rest their veteran starters and give time to the younger players who normally occupy the bench. Next week will be the key game in the playoff races for both the AFC North as well as the conference seeding.
