Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco have been pegged as a normally quiet person, refusing to get in a war of words with anyone and satisfied to let his arm and the rest of the team speak for him both on and off the playing field. However, in an interview with local sports talk radio station WNST, Flacco spoke out on a variety of topics, including the fans' over-reactions to their losses and what it takes to earn respect as a QB in the NFL.
From the story at Sports Radio Interviews:
Joe Flacco joined WNST in Baltimore with Monday Night Live to talk about fans reactions or overreactions to losses, on the idea that there are all of these hurdles he has to get over as a quarterback to earn respect, if he pays attention to what other QB’s around the NFL are doing, on him being the target of criticism this offseason for the Ravens loss in the playoffs and how he dealt with that, and whether or not he feels his leadership responsibilities have evolved as he has gotten more comfortable with the offense.
