Who Is The Most Underrated Raven?

New, comments

The Ravens have been getting productive play from players all over the field this season. The 2011 rookie class has made major contributions the teams success. Players like Torrey Smith and Pernell McPhee have contributed more than most people anticipated. Baltimore has also been getting productive snaps from veteran stop gaps like Cory Redding and Brendon Ayanbadejo. So much of the focus is always put on the big stars each week I wanted to find out who the most underrated Ravens player this season.

Over the years the Ravens have always had a player that fans have thought doesn't get enough respect. Jarret Johnson and Kelly Gregg were usually mentioned in these conversations. This year Baltimore is getting unexpected production from a variety of different players. There are young rookies and second year players playing better than expected like Pernell McPhee and Terrence Cody and there are seasoned veterans like Cory Redding and Bernard Pollard having career years. So much of the national media is focused on Ray Rice, Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs and company, who do you think is the Ravens most underrated player?

Remember underrated means they do not get the attention and respect they deserve. So, I did not put Vonta Leach on there because he is widely considered the best full back in the game, even though he may be underrated as to what he does in our offense.
