In fantasy football, everyone is looking for that one guy that no one else is expecting to have that breakout game. That one player could be the difference between winning and losing your fantasy match-up this weekend, affecting your season and ultimately perhaps, dare we say, a big payoff? When the Baltimore Ravens play the PittsburghSteelers, it's rare that a player who makes the big play to affect a game in this rivalry is a "sleeper," as this is a veteran-filled big-play game for both teams.
However, if you have to look at one player on the Ravens who could make an impact, you have to once again look at the two second year tight ends. Both Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta have contributed this season, taking over for the veteran Todd Heap, who was released in the off season and since signed by the Arizona Cardinals. Speaking of the Cardinals, Dickson and Pitta combined for twelve catches in the Ravens 30-27 comeback victory last weekend.
With the Steelers linebacking corp of James Harrison, James Farrior and LaMarr Woodley either expected out for the game or at the very least, injured and possibly hobbling around the field, the opportunities for the Ravens pair of tight ends to make an impact greatly increases.
Too fast for most linebackers, too big for defensive backs to handle, these guys also add great hands to the equation which makes them match-up nightmares. Look for either, if not both Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta to be the Ravens fantasy football "Sleeper(s) of the Week."
