Ravens Expected To Cover Spread Against Texans

New, comments

The Baltimore Ravens are considered such a solid pick in their week 6 match-up hosting the Houston Texans that one wagering site even gave it out as their 'Free NFL Pick Against The Spread.' Sports Chat Place says the Ravens (-7.5) are playing so well that the Texans' loss of both WR Andre Johnson and OLB Mario Williams will doom them to an early failure, saying that "if the Ravens get ahead early, I can see this getting ugly."

Sports Chat Place talks about the Ravens defense playing as well as any in the league and despite the passing attack's lack of performance in a league that features the pass, they still like the Ravens chances to cover the spread, which is a bit more than a full touchdown at 7.5 points. This means that the Ravens must win this game by at least eight points in order for the Ravens to cover.

If you are a gambler and are interested in laying down your hard-earned money, Sports Chat Place thinks the Ravens are as good a bet as any, good enough to be released as their free pick this coming week, saying:

"I trust Baltimore and will lay the points at home."
