RAVENS REACH AGREEMENT WITH ROOKIE KINDLE
The Ravens have reached an agreement on a contract with rookie OLB Sergio Kindle, executive vice president/general manager Ozzie Newsome announced Thursday.
Kindle will be placed on the Reserve Non-Football Injury list, which means he will not play this season.
Kindle is expected in Baltimore tomorrow to sign his contract, and the Ravens will make him available to media members after.
Selected in the second round (43rd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft, he was the Ravens’ first-overall pick. The 6-3, 250-pounder finished his career at Texas with 176 tackles (110 solo), 16 sacks (-116 yards) and 43 stops for loss (-166 yards). Kindle started 25 of his 46 games played.
NOTE: See Aaron Wilson's story on this at the National Football Post for more details abut the contract.
