As announced previously in this space, XFINITY from Comcast has generously agreed to support the best NFL community around -- us!  As part of that effort, between now and the end of the 2010 NFL season XFINITY will be sponsoring a variety of special editorial and interactive features on our site.

The Baltimore Ravens are holding an OTA (Organized Team Activities) Passing Camp this week. Today (Tuesday), it is open to the media and Baltimore Beatdown will be there in the cold and drizzle, sacrificing mind, body and real work for the goal to get you the firsthand information of who is doing well and who is not.

With the addition of WR's Anquan Boldin and Donte Stallworth, not to mention the drafting of tight ends Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta, Baltimore's passing game behind third-year QB Joe Flacco should no longer be the weak sister of its vaunted running attack. At the same time, this is still a run-first offense and any attempt to turn this team into "The Greatest Show on SportsTurf" would be a joke. However, the options are now in place unlike anything this team and its fans have ever seen before.

Practice will be held in the morning, with interviews at the podium (Coach Harbaugh) and the locker room being held afterwards. We will be there and report back before the day is done. Stay tuned.
