While the full 2010 NFL Schedule is yet to be officially released, I glimpsed what appears to the Pittsburgh Steelers regular season schedule that was leaked earlier today. Taking note of when Pittsburgh played Baltimore, I saw that the Ravens will travel there in week four on Sunday afternoon, October 3rd, and then we will host the Steelers on Sunday night, December 5th at 8:20pm, which is obviously a nationally televised game in prime time.
With the first meeting between these two teams coming in week four, what now has to be determined is how many games will QB Ben Roethlisberger be suspended for and if the decision is four games, then he will miss playing the Ravens in the first game. Today, the Steelers sent a 7th round draft pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for former backup Byron Leftwich. Based on the length of NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell's suspension determination, Leftwich will be competing with Charlie Batch and Dennis Dixon for the role of Roethlisberger's backup.
