Ravens Shut Out of Compensatory Draft Picks

The NFL announced their list of teams receiving Compensatory Picks due to the loss of free agents in 2009 and it looks like the Baltimore Ravens were shut out and will not be compensated by virtue of signing free agents (Matt Kirk, Domonique Foxworth) as well as losing them (Bart Scott, Jimmy Leonhard).

Many of us thought the team would be getting at least one or even two, but alas, that will not be the case. The big winners in the AFC North are the Cincinnati Bengals (two picks) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (three picks), while the Tennessee Titans get three and the New England Patriots add to their already high total of draft picks with four more Compensatory Picks.
