As announced previously in this space, XFINITY from Comcast has generously agreed to support the best NFL community around -- us!  As part of that effort, between now and the end of the 2010 NFL season XFINITY will be sponsoring a variety of special editorial and interactive features on our site.

Officially, the Baltimore Ravens made it into the Red Zone twice in yesterday's 17-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, the scoring chart only shows the 15 yard TD pass from Joe Flacco to Derrick Mason as being inside the opponent's 20 yard line. That's because the other time the Ravens were in the Red Zone, they settled for a 27 yard Billy Cundiff field goal. That field goal was from the ball being hiked from the ten yard line, set on the 17 yard line by holder Sam Koch, which made it a 27 yard attempt.

Two scores on two visits inside the Red Zone, although only one TD. Fortunately the Ravens scored another TD from way outside of the Red Zone on the Flacco to Todd Heap 65 yard TD pass and run. I think we'll gladly take that, despite the low Red Zone stats!
