Week 13 Picks & Pans

Sorry for the lateness in posting today's picks. Hope those of you relying on my choices to place your wagers aren't too upset with me, as you must be crazy to even consider me, desite my very decent season record. Well, here goes:

Miami over NY Jets
Yeah, the Dolphins get off the schnide and lose the bagel in the win column. Poor Jets (at least the Ravens are thankful it's not going to be them!)

Tennessee over Houston
Titans looked horrible last week on the road, but should take care of business at home to stay in the playoff hunt.

Minnesota over Detroit
Wow, will the Lions even win another game this season, after starting 6-2? Perhaps not. Ouch.

Washington over Buffalo
Emotions will run high today as Redskins try to do what Sean would want them to do to honor his memory.

St. Louis over Atlanta
If the Rams run Steven Jackson all day, they should win, despite Gus Ferrotte playing in Marc Bulger's place. If not, look for a Falcon upset.

Indianapolis over Jacksonville
The Colts spanked the Jags on the road, so why not at home too?

San Diego over Kansas City
Chargers should be able to take firm control of the division today, as LT and Michael Turner both ran wild last time they played.

Philadelphia over Seattle
The Eagles just look better without Donovan McNabb in the lineup. Wow, did I just say that? Seahawks suck on the road.

Carolina over San Francisco
Panthers win regardless of QB, even though SF scored over 30 points last week.

Denver over Oakland
I like the Broncos to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot, but now would be a good time to let JaMarcus Russell get his feet wet.

Arizona over Cleveland
The Browns have played like a playoff team recently, but have a tough matchup against the Cardinals' wide receivers today.

Chicago over NY Giants
Today's game should be in messy weather and Bears are beginning to think that they might have an outside chance at a Wild Card spot. Look out.

New Orleans over Tampa Bay
The Saints still have a shot at the playoffs but another loss to division leading Bucs will end that unless they play like last year.

Pittsburgh over Cincinnati
Steelers have the easiest track to the division crown in the entire NFL, and the Bengals certainly won't stand in their way.

NOTE: Preview and pick of tomorrow's Monday Night Football game between my Baltimore Ravens and those "overrated" (just kidding) New England Patriots will be posted Monday morning.

Last week: 9-4
Season record: 53-33 (including Thursday night)
