Saunders had two years left on a contract he signed before the 2008 season with the St. Louis Rams and was planning to sit out the season and enjoy some downtime. He turned down several offers. But then the Ravens called and it was a situation that Saunders found very enticing. He still owns a home in Virginia from his time with the Washington Redskins and is just 45 minutes away from the Ravens complex. "This is a class operation," Saunders said before the game. "From the owner, down to the grounds crew, they do things right." Saunders is working with offensive coordinator Cam Cameron."
