Dolphins Defensive End Dion Jordan has been suspended for the 2015 season due to his third substance abuse policy violation according to Adam Schefter.

It doesnt appear that Jordan's ban is because his test came back positive, but more because his sample was found diluted which marks as an automatic strike. Jordan is not expected to fight his suspension, which means that the defensive end will likely not suite up this season and could very well be on the chopping block with the Dolphins.
While the Ravens are not directly tied to Jordan in the event of a release or trade scenario, they do have a need for a young defensive end. With Missouri's Shane Ray having just been popped for marijuana by the police, the Ravens could find themselves in a situation where they have Jordan and Ray available to them for relatively cheap. It is unknown how much the Ravens would value a player with clear substance abuse issues, but the Ravens have not shied away from players like that in the past, most notably Ricky Williams.
With the NFL Draft coming up on Thursday, it will be interesting to see exactly what the Ravens do given that everything seems so tumultuous at this time. However, it does look like the Ravens could have a selection between quite a few talented players with some red flags at their 26th pick or even in free agency if the Dolphins decide to part ways with Jordan.
Do you think that the Ravens would take a low risk shot at someone like Dion Jordan? Vet minimum type of deal or a late round pick for the suspended player?
