Post-Super Bowl Ravens Mock Draft

(Ravens trade the 26th overall selection to the Jaguars for their 2nd Round selection (36th overall) and 4th round selection (100th Overall)

36th Overall: Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin

Let me set the record straight: I do want the Ravens to resign Justin Forsett for a 2-3 year deal. I do like the talent that Taliaferro brings. But despite being in a time where running backs seem expendable, Gordon is a clear cut talent above the rest that will be the best player on the board when the Ravens pick. Forsett only has a couple of years left and he and Gordon would make a great power rushing attack. I am fine with Todd Gurley 36th as well, but he may be off the board. Also, with Thomas Hammock on board, (Wisconsin RBs Coach 2011-13), I think Gordon is more likely to be picked.

58th Overall: Gerod Holliman, S, Louisville

I believe that Will Hill will be back and that Terrance Brooks will develop further next year. But with Matt Elam being a total bust and Darian Stewart hitting Free Agency, Safety is still a position of need. Bring in Gerod Holliman. Holliman recently received the 2014 Jim Thorpe award and would be a steal and by far the best player available at 58.

90th Overall: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon

Ekpre-Olomu is another Jim Thorpe finalist who had a standout year at Oregon until suffering a serious knee injury late in the season. Many believe that the injury knocks him down to a third round draft choice. Ekpre-Olomu would be a great value pick for the Ravens to finally find that 3rd corner that they have needed since Corey Graham left town.

100th Overall: Senquez Golson, CB, Ole Miss

Two corners in a row? Yes. Lardarius Webb's future in Baltimore looks cloudy and if we learned anything last seaon its that Corner depth is vital. Golson is undersized but was one of the most talented DBs in the NCAA last year. If he can beef up he would be a great addition to the Ravens secondary.

122th Overall: Stefon Diggs, WR, Maryland

WR is a position of need with Steve Smith aging and Torrey Smith on the open market. I am of firm belief that Torrey will be back but WR is a position that the Ravens definitely will invest in. Bring in Stefon Diggs. Diggs' college carrer was marred by injury and 10 different quarterbacks, but I believe he is a first round talent when healthy. He makes cutting Jacoby Jones (2.5 million saving after June 1) an easier task. He is also a local prospect.

188th Overall, Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State

Tyrod is as good as gone and Keith Wenning has yet to prove anything to Ravens fans. Bring in Mannion, who had a down year statistically compared to 2013. Let Mannion and Wenning battle it out in Training Camp for the back-up QB position and assign the loser to the Practice Squad.

206th Overall: Shaquille Riddick, DE, West Virginia

With Pernell McPhee likely gone, the Ravens will stock up on a pass rusher to develop for down the road. Riddick had 7 sacks on the season and was a great component of West Virginia's pass rush.
