ESPN wasted no time in reminding viewers that Matt Schaub was a Pro Bowl quarterback in Houston before being ousted after some bad play. They referred to his time in Oakland as a short stint before coming to the Baltimore Ravens. Then this happened.
Matt Schaub entered tonight having thrown a pick six in 4 of his previous 7 starts. Cue Karlos Dansby. #BALvsCLE https://t.co/yKpNqOnwSt

And they immediately rolled out the pick-six montage like it was a Rocky movie and Schaub was training throwing at other players.
Yes Matt Schaub, the new quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens found another opponent and tossed them the ball, allowing them to run it back to the endzone for the a touchdown. That would mark his 4th game in his last 7 starts where he has done that. Karlos Dansby would return this interception 52-yards for the touchdown and put the Browns within just 3 points.
Prior to the interception, Schaub actually looked decent. It was clear that offensive coordinator Marc Trestman has simplified the reads and throws for him, but he was doing everything asked of him while the running game took hold. Schaub would actually come back the next drive and push the Ravens in for a touchdown with a nice 15-yard completion to Kamar Aiken to show that it might have been a fluke.
At least we are hoping it was a fluke
