As expected the Baltimore Ravens have brought Derek Cox back to the 53-man roster, according to The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson.
Cox was re-signed on Tuesday, though there's no word at this time as to what the corresponding move will be. With the practice squad filled, conventional wisdom would suggest that one of the seven wide receivers will be cut to make room. Another option would be to cut one of the six safeties on the roster, too.
Cox didn't play much in the preseason finale against New Orleans but looked good when he was on the field. He still has plenty of talent but needs to channel what he was able to do during his days with Jacksonville. The Ravens will hope last year's poor season in San Diego was an anomaly in the overall body of work.
