One of Thursday's standouts was John Simon, who was seemingly all over the field making plays.
He played all the way until the end of the game and there was no mention of any injury with him afterward. However, Simon is a no-show thus far in Saturday's practice.

Of course, this doesn't mean Simon is or will be cut. But it at least raises the question, as noted by WNST's Luke Jones.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Nothing official on Simon's status, but it would mark the second straight year the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Ravens?src=hash">#Ravens</a> cut a fourth-round pick from the previous year.</p>— Luke Jones (@BaltimoreLuke) <a href="https://twitter.com/BaltimoreLuke/statuses/505752120017317888">August 30, 2014</a></blockquote>

It would be a shock for Simon to get the axe, considering he was selected in the 2013 draft. After his performance against the Saints, it seemed Simon had improved throughout the preseason where perhaps he could work into the outside linebacker rotation.
We'll have to see what happens with Simon in the next couple of hours. Cuts have to be finalized by 4 p.m. ET.
ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley noted that there are two surprises participating in Saturday's session.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Among the surprises still practicing for the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Ravens?src=hash">#Ravens</a> are OT James Hurst and LB Zachary Orr.</p>— Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) <a href="https://twitter.com/jamisonhensley/statuses/505752420442734592">August 30, 2014</a></blockquote>

And the Ravens did get some injured guys back at practice.
